Free Eat'n Park Smiley Cookie just for wearing Pirates gear on home opener day
Here’s something to put a smile on the faces of Pittsburgh Pirates fans:
Eat’n Park restaurants across Western Pennsylvania are celebrating Thursday’s home opener with a free Black & Gold Smiley Cookie for fans showing their Bucco pride.
All dine-in guests wearing Pirates attire on Thursday will receive a free Black & Gold Smiley Cookie with their meals. Any form of Pirates attire is acceptable to qualify for the offer.
“That means hats, shirts, pants, ties, jackets, all of the above,” said Eat’n Park Hospitality Group spokesperson Becky McArdle.
The Pirates host the Chicago Cubs at 1:35 p.m. Thursday at PNC Park.
The free cookie offer will be available all day.
For walk-ins or guests not in Pirates gear, the Black & Gold Smiley and an eye-patch-sporting Pirates Smiley also will be available for purchase. Cookies are $8.99 per dozen.
“Every year, we support the home opener with a Black and Gold promotion, and we’re really excited to do it again this year,” McArdle said.
Eat’n Park offers a wide variety of seasonal and special occasion Smiley Cookies, McArdle said. The iconic dessert treats are baked fresh and hand-iced daily in the individual restaurants.
Cookie lovers also can order themed and custom-designed Smileys at smileycookie.com.
