Free beer here!

Primanti Bros. Restaurants and Bars are celebrating the return of bar service with free beer for customers.

On Monday, free beer will be available at all Primanti Bros. locations across Pennsylvania.

The brew will be available while supplies last. It is limited to one 12-oz domestic bottle per customer.

Bar service will resume in Pennsylvania beginning Sunday, and the curfew on alcohol sales will be lifted. Bars and restaurants will also be able to sell alcohol without a food order and operate at 75% capacity.

Bar service has been prohibited since last year and food purchases had to accompany alcohol sales.

“This has been a tough year for everyone,” said Adam Golomb, chief beer drinker at Primanti Bros. “And as we begin to safely reopen our bar tops — we’re looking to have a little fun.”

Though the free beer is being offered in celebration of the bar tops reopening, it will also be available to those who still feel more comfortable ordering curbside.

“We’ve all seen the sign that says, ‘Free Beer Tomorrow,’” Golomb said. “Well, tomorrow is here. Or it will be — on April 5.”

While Primanti Bros. is excited to celebrate the reopening of bars, they said they are also dedicated to celebrating safely. The restaurants will still abide by capacity limits and follow sanitizing and social distancing guidelines.
