Easter Sunday could see a few light showers, but most of day to be dry
Aside from possible light showers in the early morning and late evening, Easter Sunday looks like it will be dry with cloudy skies, according to WTAE Meteorologist Mike Harvey.
“It will be cloudy on Easter, but we could have a few sprinkles or a few light showers very early on Sunday or very late, but the bulk of the day is going to be dry with cloudy skies,” Harvey said.
Saturday morning is forecast to be partly cloudy, with a low of 35 degrees and west winds at 10 to 15 mph, he said. Temperatures should rise to a high of 55 degrees by Saturday afternoon and skies will become mostly sunny.
On Easter Sunday, the temperature is forecast to reach a high of 61 and a low of 45, according to Harvey’s report.
Monday’s and Tuesday’s forecast includes a chance of thunderstorms in the area, Harvey said, with highs on Monday and Tuesday at 62 and 63 degrees respectively.
Following that though, temperatures look like they will dip down into the high 40s and low 50s on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday looks to be cloudy, while Thursday and Friday appear to be partly cloudy.
