Township police were called to a crash involving a pedestrian shortly before 7 a.m. Wednesday on the southbound side of Franklin Road.

A 28-year-old man was walking south near the intersection of Mars-Crider Road when he was struck by a passing vehicle. Police said the driver fled the scene and that the vehicle would have sustained damage to the front passenger side.
