A 31-year-old Indiana County man was arrested this week on charges of firing a 12-gauge shotgun inside a house during an argument with a woman in White Township.

Joshua N. Walters was charged with discharging a firearm into an occupied structure and reckless endangerment following the incident about 2:19 p.m. Wednesday on Jeffrey Street, near Indiana Borough, according to state police Trooper Ryan Williams.

Williams said Walters was involved in a verbal argument with a woman, who left the house and went into the driveway, while Walters retrieved a shotgun and fired it inside the residence. Williams reported no one was injured.

District Judge Guy Haberl arraigned Walters Wednesday and ordered him held in the county jail after he failed to post $10,000 bail.
