Teenage gunshot victim found dead in vacant lot in Washington, Pa.
Officials found a body of a teenager Sunday morning in a vacant lot in Washington, Pa.
The Washington County Coroner’s Office identified the victim Sunday evening as Connor Brock, 18, of Washington, Pa. According to the coroner’s report, Brock had an apparent gunshot wound.
The coroner and city police are investigating the incident as a suspected homicide.
According to the coroner’s office, the incident is believed to have occurred between about 10:30 p.m. Saturday and about 9:15 a.m. Sunday, when an adjacent resident discovered the body in the lot along Seminole Avenue and called 911.
Brock was pronounced dead shortly before 11 a.m Sunday.
A ruling on the cause of death is pending completion of an autopsy.
The investigation is being handled by the Washington City Police Department.
