Amber Alert issued for baby boy abducted in Cleveland
Police are searching for a six-week-old infant who was abducted Tuesday from the Cleveland area, authorities said.
An Amber alert was issued after Cannon Tatum McDoodle was taken by a family friend, according to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
The baby weighs about 14 pounds and has black hair and gray eyes. He was last seen wearing a tan onesie with teddy bears.
According to Cleveland Police, the baby’s mother reported at about 11 p.m. that she had a fight with a family friend, Tiashia Dumas, who drove off with the baby.
Dumas is a 23-year-old Black woman. She is described as being 5’2” tall and weighing 210 pounds with brown hair.
She was driving a black 2006 Chevy Impala with an Ohio license plate M388569.
Dumas was last seen driving in the area of West 85th Street and Madison, in Cleveland.
Police said Dumas might also be driving near the Youngstown area.
