Polling places: Where to vote in the Shaler area
Here’s a list of where you can vote Nov. 3 in the Shaler area:
• Etna: Calvert Memorial Presbyterian Church, 94 Locust St.; and All Saints Church, 19 Wilson St.
• Millvale: Millvale Community Center, 416 Lincoln Ave.; Christ Lutheran Church, 917 Evergreen Ave.; and Holy Spirit School, 608 Farragut St.
• Shaler: Cherry City Volunteer Fire Company, 309 Davis Ave.; Shalercrest Housing Association, 272 Mt. Vernon Dr.; Bauerstown Volunteer Fire Department, 15 Wible Run Road; Shaler Area High School, 381 Wible Run Road; Marzolf Elementary School, 101 Marzolf Road; Undercliff Volunteer Fire Company, 700 Mt. Royal Boulevard; Burchfield School, 1500 Burchfield Road; Glenshaw Valley Presbyterian Church, 1520 Butler Plank Road; Glenshaw Presbyterian Church, 300 Glenn Ave.; Elfinwild Volunteer Fire Company, 2807 Mt. Royal Blvd.; Shaler Middle School, 1810 Mt. Royal Blvd.; Shaler Jr. High School, 700 Scott Ave.; Shaler Area High School, 381 Wible Run Road; Shaler Area Elementary School, 700 Scott Ave.; Sharps Hill Volunteer Fire Department, 503 Berner St.; and Shaler Villa Volunteer Fire Company, 960 Saxonburg Blvd.
The Allegheny County Elections Division said all 1,323 polling locations will be open on Nov. 3 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Anyone in line at 8 p.m. will still be allowed to vote, according to the county’s website.
The county website states poll workers will be provided masks, gloves, face shields and hand sanitizer. There will also be Plexiglass installed at the sign-in tables, cleaning supplies, tape to mark off 6 feet of distance for people waiting in lines and extra staff to “help enforce the provisions.”
“Voters will be asked to wear a face covering in compliance with the state order. Those who arrive without a face covering will be offered one,” said an announcement on the Allegheny County elections website.
