A Coraopolis man has been arrested after, police say, he shot another man in an apartment in the 900 block of Sixth Avenue early Sunday morning.

The man who was shot is in critical condition, officials said.

Coraopolis police responded to the apartment around 4:45 a.m. Sunday. They found a man with a gunshot wound to the head, according to a release from Allegheny County Police.

Allegheny County homicide detectives opened an investigation and determined Curtis Christopher Tucker, 32, of Coraopolis was responsible for the shooting, according to the release.

Tucker is being held in the Allegheny County Jail and is charged with criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault, burglary, person not to possess a firearm and recklessly endangering another person, the release said.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call the county police tip line at 833-255-8477.
