Pittsburgh police have made an arrest in the case of a fatal shooting in Pittsburgh’s Hazelwood neighborhood on July 1.

The city’s Public Safety spokeswoman Cara Cruz said police have charged 22-year-old Quentin Primus with criminal homicide; aggravated assault; recklessly endangering another person; criminal attempt homicide; persons not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms; and carrying a firearm without a license.

Cruz said Primus is currently in the Allegheny County Jail on unrelated charges.

He has been charged in the incident that killed 18-year-old Darrian Davis on Johnston Avenue. Two others were injured in the shooting, too.

On July 1, medics transported one victim to the hospital in critical condition. A second victim went to the hospital in a private vehicle. A third person was also treated at a hospital for a graze wound, officials said.

Witnesses had told police the shots were fired from a dark-colored sedan.
