Police: 17-year-old boy injured in Turtle Creek shooting

A 17-year-old boy was injured during a shooting in Turtle Creek Saturday afternoon, police said.

Shortly before 2 p.m., Allegheny County dispatchers were notified of a shooting in the 1400 block of Maple Avenue where first responders found the boy who was shot in the abdomen and arm, according to a news release from Allegheny County police.

Homicide detectives are investigating.
