Oakmont and its trash collector, County Hauling, are hosting a 12-day glass recycling event in three borough locations.
Recycling dumpsters will be at the parking lot at Fifth Street and Virginia Avenue, the Second Street parking lot at Riverside Park and the Creekside Parking lot from Aug. 10 to 21.
Unbagged glass bottles, jars and jugs will be accepted.
Cut glass, stemware, glass bakeware, porcelain ceramics, window glass, light bulbs, TVs and monitors will not be accepted.
Borough officials said glass recycling was something many residents had requested.
