A 16-year-old boy was shot multiple times Wednesday evening in a home across the street from Carrick High School, according to Pittsburgh police.

Officers found the boy suffering from several gunshot wounds in the arm and groin area at around 7 p.m. EMS transported him to a hospital in stable condition.

Police arrested two people at the scene for interfering with the administration of justice.

As many as three people had entered the home on the 100 block of Parkfield Street and then fled, according to police.

The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact city police at 412-323-7800.
