Pittsburgh police seek man in connection with Downtown shooting
Pittsburgh police said they are seeking a man in connection with a Dec. 9 shooting in Downtown that left another man in critical condition, according to Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV.
Andre Douglas Davis, 34, of Pittsburgh, was charged Sunday with aggravated assault and gun charges in connection with the shooting along 10th Street.
Officers from the Zone 2 station in the city’s Hill District and emergency medical technicians found a man with a gunshot wound to the head and took him to the hospital in critical condition, according to a Pittsburgh Public Safety spokesman.
Witnesses told investigators they heard two men arguing before the shooting happened, according to a criminal complaint filed in the case. The suspect fled after the shooting, police said.
The complaint said witnesses identified Davis and he was seen on cameras driving away from the scene.
