Pittsburgh Perry South shooting under investigation
Pittsburgh Police are investigating a shooting in the city’s Perry South neighborhood.
Officers were dispatched for a ShotSpotter alert for 11 shots fired in the 200 block of Kennedy Avenue at approximately 5:50 p.m. Sunday, Public Safety spokeswoman Cara Cruz reported.
Arriving units located damage to a residence, but there were no victims or witnesses on scene.
City cameras captured the driver of a silver SUV shooting from the window of the vehicle.
Cruz said a 19-year-old man with gunshot wounds arrived at a hospital by private means in stable condition a short time later.
The investigation continues. No arrests have been made.
