Pittsburgh police said a Spring Hill man has been jailed in connection with the shooting of a man in that neighborhood in August.

Juan Still, 30, is accused of shooting the man in the chest and lower extremities around 9 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 1100 block of Brabec Street.

Police said the victim, who was not identified, was in stable condition when transported to the hospital the night of the shooting.

Still was arrested Friday in Swissvale by the U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force, Swissvale police and Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit.

Still was charged with criminal attempt homicide, aggravated assault and illegal possession of a firearm.

He was denied bail during his arraignment Friday and placed in the Allegheny County Jail pending his preliminary hearing on Nov. 3, according to court records.
