A Pittsburgh man is charged with attempted homicide in connection with an Oct. 16 shooting in the city’s Mt. Washington neighborhood.

Ramon White Jr., 19, was arrested Monday, Dec. 21 by the Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force at a house in McKees Rocks.

Pittsburgh police said they found two gunshot victims inside a vehicle at about 8 p.m. Oct. 16 in the 300 block of Birmingham Avenue. The car was pierced with bullet holes and had a window shot out.

The men told police they’d been shot in the 400 block of Meridan Street, near Olympia Park on Mt. Washington.

One man was shot in the arm and the other was grazed. They were taken to a local hospital in stable condition.

In addition to attempted homicide, White is charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and a firearm violation.

White was arraigned on Tuesday and was released later that day after posting $25,000 bail, according to online court documents.

He faces a Jan. 4 preliminary hearing in Pittsburgh Municipal Court.
