A Wilkinsburg man was indicted by a federal grand jury on drug and firearms violations.

Jerome Solomon, 39, has been charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of firearm by a convicted felon and possession of firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.

Authorities said the charges stem from an incident Feb. 19 in the Pittsburgh area.

The Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office, the U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force, the Wilkinsburg Police Department and the FBI conducted the investigation leading to Solomon’s indictment.
