Watch Heinz Field crowd sing Garth Brooks' 'Friends in Low Places'
Everyone knew this was coming, but it doesn’t make the moment any less special.
Fans attending the Garth Brooks show Saturday night at Heinz Field took over when Brooks played fan-favorite “Friends in Low Places.”
At his preshow news conference Friday, Brooks cracked that he hasn’t actually sung “Friends in Low Places” in 25 years.
“All I do is play the first four notes and wait for (fans) to finish,” Brooks said Friday. “I guess I’m more of a spectator. That’s the fun part about ‘Friends in Low Places.’ It’s not this artist’s song. It’s all of our song.”
And the record-breaking Heinz Field crowd didn’t disappoint in doing the work. Check out some video of fans singing along.
