Man hospitalized after Wilkinsburg shooting

A man was hospitalized after being shot Monday afternoon in Wilkinsburg, police said.

Allegheny County Police said the 18-year-old was conscious and alert when found at Ross Avenue and Coal Street around 3:30 p.m.

The victim was taken to an area hospital. No further information about the victim or possible suspects was released.
