Police search for driver who fired gun in Route 28 road rage incident

Police are looking for a driver who allegedly fired three shots at another car in a road rage incident on Route 28, the Trib’s news partner, WPXI-TV, reported.

According to WPXI, investigators said the alleged shooter targeted a woman driving southbound on Route 28 near the East Ohio Street exit just after 6 p.m. Saturday.

One of the bullets struck her front windshield. She wasn’t hit, but police said she was injured by the broken glass.

The car believed to be involved was described as a navy blue 2011 to 2014 Volkswagen Passat.
