Authorities say a raid at a house in Monroeville on Tuesday netted illegal drugs with a street value of about $62,000.

Allegheny County and Monroeville police and the FBI on Tuesday searched a house in the 2500 block of Monroeville Boulevard.

County police Inspector Andrew Schurman on Wednesday said they sized 3.5 ounces of raw heroin/fentanyl along with 11 bricks — 550 packets — of packaged heroin worth about $62,000 on the street. He said three handguns were also seized. One allegedly had an obliterated serial number.

Police said two men were charged. County police Inspector Andrew Schurman said names are not being released at this time.

The men will face state charges, he said.
