Police respond to overnight stabbing in Homewood

A man was injured after a stabbing in Homewood, Pittsburgh police said.

Officers responded to the 7100 block of Mount Vernon Street around 1 a.m. Monday to reports of a stabbing. When officers arrived they were met by a man with a cut on his left arm.

He was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

A woman, who was not immediately identified, was arrested on scene and investigation continues.
