Police: Man stable after being shot twice in East Hills
A man has been upgraded from critical to stable condition after being shot in Pittsburgh’s East Hills neighborhood Wednesday night, according to police.
Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert and 911 calls of dozens of shots fired in the 2300 block of East Hills Drive just before 9:15 p.m.
Officers found the man with gunshot wounds to his shoulder and side. No information about the man was released.
Police said they believe the shots were fired between two vehicles.
Bullets were recovered from two structures that were hit in the area. No one inside those buildings was hurt, police said.
Police were continuing to investigate.
