Police: Man stabbed to death in McKeesport

A Pittsburgh man died after he was a stabbed in McKeesport late Wednesday afternoon, according to Allegheny County Police.

He was identified as Irvin Green, 48, by the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office.

McKeesport police and paramedics were called to the 1200 block of Evans Avenue around 5:40 p.m. for a man stabbed.

When officers arrived, they found Green lying in the street with a single stab wound to the torso. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was declared dead.

Allegheny County Police said Green was involved in a physical altercation with another man when he was stabbed.

There were no suspects and the motive for the stabbing was unclear as of early Thursday.
