A girl was in stable condition after being hit by a car while riding a bicycle in Pittsburgh’s Sheraden neighborhood Wednesday, police said.

Police and medics went to Ashlyn Street and Zephyr Avenue around 7:35 p.m. after someone reported a vehicle hitting the girl to 911.

The girl, whose age was not provided, was conscious and alert when speaking with medics, police said. She was taken to a hospital.

The driver, who was not identified, remained at the scene.
