Police: Pittsburgh woman jailed after stabbing man

A Pittsburgh woman accused of stabbing a man is in jail.

Rhonda Powell, 57, is charged with aggravated assault in connection with an incident 12:20 a.m. Friday along the 2500 block of Park Hill Drive in East Hills.

Zone 5 officers responded to reports of a stabbing and found a man outside a residence who had been stabbed in the shoulder.

Police said he was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.

Online court documents indicate she’s lodged in the Allegheny County Jail under a $10,000 bond.

Powell’s preliminary hearing is scheduled forJuly 17 in Pittsburgh Municipal Court.
