Pittsburgh ranks second in nation for high number of Target stores

Pittsburgh ranked second in the top 10 list for cities with the highest ratio of Target stores to residents, according to Apartment Guide, a rental website that helps people find apartments.
According to the study, Pittsburgh has one Target for every 37,801 people.
Knoxville, Tenn., topped the list with one of the retailers for every 37,469 residents. Allentown came in third, followed by Saint Paul, Minn., Columbia, S.C., Orlando, Fla., and Fullerton, Calif.
Pittsburgh, along with Charlotte, N.C., San Diego, Calif., and Los Angeles has eight Targets. Chicago, Ill., has 20 of the retailers.
Apartment Guide looks at cities with populations of more than 10,000 people based off the U.S. Census and used business listings to count the number of Target location with a mailing address in each city.
Pittsburgh recently ranked eighth in the nation for having a high number of Chipotles, according to Apartment Guide. The city has 10 Chipotles or about one restaurant for every 30,241 people.
