Pittsburgh police searching for suspected child predator

Pittsburgh police said Tuesday that they are searching for a suspected child predator who lives on the city’s North Side.

Delrio Demetrius Ivy, 43, faces charges of rape of a child, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child, endangering the welfare of a child, unlawful contact of a minor and indecent assault. A warrant has been issued for his arrest, police said.

Authorities described him as 6 feet tall, weighing 210 pounds with brown eyes. He is known to frequent the Manchester area, police said.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Special Victims Unit at 412-323-7141.
