Pittsburgh police investigate Perry South stabbing

Pittsburgh police are investigating a stabbing that happened in the city’s Perry South neighborhood early Tuesday morning, according to the city department of public safety.

Police were called to a home on the 2900 block of N. Charles Street just before 2:30 a.m.

They found a woman with a minor stab wound to her shoulder and a cut on her face.

She said she had been in a fight with another woman, who had left the scene, according to police.

The victim refused treatment. Her injuries were not life-threatening.
