Pittsburgh Police investigate fatal Homewood shooting
A 29-year-old man was killed Tuesday in a shooting in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood, according to the city Department of Public Safety.
Donovan James Goodwine died of a gunshot wound to the head, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Police received a ShotSpotter report and a 911 call about a man down on Forest Way at Collier Street shortly before 11 p.m. Medics declared him dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
