Nordstrom reopening 2 Pittsburgh-area stores
Pittsburgh-area shoppers will have more options on Thursday, when Nordstrom Ross Park Mall and Nordstrom Rack Northway Collection reopen to customers.
“We’re taking a phased, market-by-market approach to reopening our stores. The health and well-being of our employees, customers and communities is our priority,” Nordstrom says.
Nationwide, the chain is opening stores as allowed by state and local governments and where proper safety measures and protocols can be implemented.
Health and safety updates at stores include:
• Health screenings for employees before they come into work
• Providing face coverings for employees and customers
• Taking steps to allow for social distancing of 6 feet or more, including limiting the number of customers and employees in the store
• Increasing cleaning and sanitizing
• Modifying fitting room protocols
• Continuing to offer contactless curbside services at full-line stores
• Pausing or adapting high-touch services and customer events
• Keeping merchandise that has been tried on or returned off the sales floor for a period of time
• Altering hours of operation.
Additional information for each store is available on the store locator page at nordstrom.com.
