Juke Records in Bloomfield is shutting their doors, according to their Twitter page. Submitted.

Juke Records announced Sunday it will close its Bloomfield store before its lease is up this summer.

“Fortunately, Pittsburgh has a lot of record stores. Unfortunately, our time is up,” the store noted on its Twitter page.

It wasn’t immediately clear when or why the Liberty Avenue store is closing.

Prior to the closure, the store is holding a liquidation sale. According to its Twitter page, new vinyl is 30 percent off, used vinyl is 50 percent off, new and used CDs are 75 percent off and CD and vinyl box sets are 30 percent off. Only cash is accepted and all sales are final.

New store hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Store owners didn’t immediately respond to questions from the Tribune-Review.
