Nobody was hurt in a fire in Pittsburgh’s Homewood neighborhood Tuesday morning, Tribune-Review news partner WPXI reported.

The fire in a two-story home on the 7500 block of Bennett Street was reported shortly before 4:45 a.m.

The blaze started in an empty unit of a duplex, WPXI reported. A family living in the other unit was awakened by smoke detectors and fled unharmed.

City firefighters quickly extinguished the fire, which was out before 5:30 a.m.
