Fox Chapel man charged in Baldwin man’s killing

A 21-year-old Fox Chapel man is accused of fatally shooting a Baldwin resident in his home.

Allegheny County police arrested Adam Rosenberg on Wednesday and charged him with criminal homicide, robbery, tampering with evidence and firearms violations.

Police said Jeremy Dentel, 28, was shot once in his Baldwin home at about 6:10 p.m. Saturday. Police said he had been shot in the head.

Police said the victim’s body was not found until shortly after 11 p.m. the next night.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled Dentel’s death a homicide.

Police said Rosenberg is being lodged in the Allegheny County Jail in Pittsburgh while he awaits arraignment.
