Famous Pittsburghers 'Rock' thanks to city's medical workers
The Pittsburgh medical community is rocking the effort to address the coronavirus outbreak.
And now a number of famous Pittsburghers have taken to YouTube to express their thanks for the work. And to remind everyone to stay home.
In a video — “We Will Rock You Pittsburgh – Stay Home. Stay Safe” — posted on Inside the Vault’s YouTube channel, the likes of Ben Roethlisberger, Cam Heyward, Mayor Bill Peduto, Chris Jamison, Joe Grushecky, Brett Keisel, Bill Deasy, Brenda Waters, Sally Wiggin, Curt Wooten (aka Pittsburgh Dad) and many others clap out an a cappella version of Queen’s “We Will Rock You.”
Juju Smith-Schuster and Joe Manganiello and others deliver Inside the Vault’s ultimate message: “Thank you to Pittsburgh’s frontline workers for keeping us safe, fed and healthy. YOU are our hometown hero’s. Pittsburghers, stay hometown strong and please STAY HOME! Your life and the lives of your loved ones depend on it.”
There were so many other famous Pittsburghers in the video, it was hard to name them all. Let us know who you spot.
