Beulah Road in Churchill was closed early on Friday, July 19, 2019.

Hundreds of people lost power Friday morning after a crash on a Churchill Road.

A car crashed into a pole and brought down power lines on Beulah Road between Kingsdale Road and Thornberry Drive, the Trib’s news partner, WPXI-TV, reported.

The road was initially reported as being closed; traffic was later reported to be getting through the area slowly.

Duquesne Light crews were on the scene.

The utility was reporting about 700 customers without power at 6:15 a.m. Of those, more than 400 are in Wilkins and over 200 in Forest Hills.
