Allegheny County homicide detectives police identified a suspect in the fatal shooting of a 31-year-old man in a Stowe Township bar early Sunday morning.

Police issued an arrest warrant for Omarr Harris, 36, on charges of criminal homicide and a firearms violation. Harris, whose address was not revealed by police, was described as a light-skinned black man, about 5-feet, 11-inches tall and being heavy set.

The victim, 31-year-old Ernest Dixon of Pittsburgh, was reported shot inside the Shooters Bar located at 1175 Island Avenue, Stowe Township, at 1:15 a.m. County police say Harris approached Dixon and then quickly pulled a gun from his waistband and shot him. Police still are determining a motive for the shooting.

Stowe Police and EMS found Dixon with a single gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital, where he later died at 3:23 a.m.
