A former Donora resident accused of conspiring to get drugs from China via the internet has pleaded guilty to violating federal narcotics and firearm laws.
Christian B. Drennan, 28, currently of St. Clairsville, Ohio, pleaded guilty to two counts before Senior U.S. District Judge Joy Flowers Conti.
Authorities said from April 2018 until Sept. 6, 2018, Drennan conspired to import fentanyl from China via the internet and possessed seven firearms while an unlawful user of a controlled substance.
Judge Conti scheduled sentencing for Sept. 25.
Drennan could be ordered to serve up to 30 years in prison.
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement/Homeland Security Investigations, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, the FBI and Pennsylvania State Police conducted the investigation leading to the prosecution of Drennan.
