Seven people were arrested in connection with a prostitution sting that undercover Pittsburgh detectives began when they saw an online advertisement, Tribune-Review news partner WPXI reported.

The station reported, citing court documents, that detectives found an ad on the website Escort Babylon, responded to it and made arrangements to meet Samuel Snyder at a hotel.

Snyder “agreed to deliver crystal methamphetamine” and asked if he could bring a friend or two, WPXI reported.

Snyder and Jules Williams reportedly showed up at a detective’s hotel room, where they were arrested. Both men were arrested.

Another man, Kevin Fowler, also was in the hotel.

“He paid for the taxi so his two friends could go party with an individual in the room,” police said in the criminal complaint obtained by WPXI. “He stated he knew they were going to engage in sexual acts for money and that he would get money from them to pay for the taxi.”

Four others were charged in related incidents, WPXI reported.
