Three Pittsburgh men have been indicted for allegedly trafficking fentanyl, heroin and crack cocaine, according to U.S. Attorney Scott W. Brady.

John Burton, 31, Nico Nixon, 29, and Quintine Scales, 35, allegedly possessed and distributed the drugs between May 2019 and September 2019. They are charged with distributing, possessing with intent to distribute, and/or conspiring to distribute at least 40 grams of fentanyl and fentanyl analogues, heroin and crack cocaine.

Pittsburgh police, the U.S. Marshals Service and the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office investigated the case that is being prosecuted as part of Project Safe Neighborhoods, an evidence-based program aimed at reducing violent crimes.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Craig W. Haller is prosecuting the case.
