A section of Forbes Avenue in Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood will be down to a single lane this weekend for milling and paving, PennDOT announced.

The lane closure will occur between Craft Avenue and South Craig Street starting at 8 p.m. Friday. All lanes are expected to be open by 6 a.m. on Monday.

The eastbound Forbes Avenue/Oakland off ramp from the Parkway East — Exit 72A — also will be closed to traffic from 8 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday.

Eastbound I-376 motorists can get onto Forbes Avenue by using the Boulevard of the Allies off ramp.

A posted detour will direct drivers around the construction area.
