Latest coronavirus stats for Pine, Richland
As coronavirus cases are beginning to rise more slowly in Allegheny County and across the country, Pine and Richland townships are following that trend.
As of Jan. 27, there have been 711 total cases of the novel coronavirus in Pine Township since March, according to the latest information provided by an interactive Allegheny County covid-19 map. Six deaths have been reported, and 4,056 tests have been administered to Pine residents.
Pine Township’s case rate is 618 per 10,000 residents.
Since the pandemic began, Richland Township has had 655 total cases of the virus. In that time, Richland has seen 34 deaths, and 3,261 tests have been administered.
Richland’s case rate is 590 per 10,000 residents.
