Penn-Trafford briefs: Level Green church to hold 'Elvis' concert; P-T football team to wash cars to raise money for diabetes research
P-T football team to help with car wash
Members of the Penn-Trafford football team will raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation’s Pittsburgh chapter by washing cars from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 13 at Energy Swing Windows, 1760 Golden Mile Highway, Monroeville.
Any donations for the car wash are accepted.
Level Green church to present ‘Elvis’ concert
A free Elvis Presley-themed concert will be performed for free at 7:30 p.m. May 16 at the Level Green Presbyterian Church, 105 Olive Dr., Level Green.
Those attending are asked to donate non-perishable food to help the Trafford-Level Green Food Bank.
Professional Elvis tribute artist Kelly Hylton will perform in the show. He was invited to perform near Graceland , Elvis’ home in Memphis, Tenn., during Elvis week in August.
