7 hall of fame members set for induction

The Penn-Trafford High School Alumni Hall of Fame will induct seven alumni at its second annual honor ceremony on Sept. 17 at the Lamplighter’s Crystal Ballroom along Route 22 in Salem.

The inductees include Jennifer Miele (Cinti), Glenn Kashurba, David Rebich, Lawrence Cole, Lori Jakiela, Sylvia Hill Fields and Ronald Supancic Sr.

Prior to the luncheon, a high school tour will begin at 10 a.m. A buffet luncheon will start at noon and the awards ceremony will begin at 1 p.m.

Tickets are $35 per person. Sept. 7 is the deadline to RSVP.

Super Seniors to meet in Harrison City

Super Seniors of Westmoreland County will meet at noon Sept. 6 in the Community United Methodist Church, Route 130, Harrison City.

Walt Olsen, a singer and instrumentalist, will perform.

Lunch is $6. Reservations are needed by new members by calling Linda Briggs at 724-744-3993.

Golf outing will benefit Toys for Pittsburgh Tikes

The Greater Pittsburgh Business Connection will host a Sept. 26 golf outing to benefit Toys for Pittsburgh Tikes at the Westmoreland Country Club, 7100 Mellon Road, Penn Township. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
