A woman riding in a car on the Parkway East was shot to death early Saturday when someone in another car shot into her car multiple times, state police said.
Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Jasmine Guest, 24, of Monroeville.
Police say her death was a homicide.
The car in which Guest was a passenger was heading east on Route 376 in Churchill just after 4 a.m. when a vehicle traveling in the same direction fired multiple times into the car. Guest was hit by one of them. Police did not report any injury to the driver.
Police said the incident took place by mile marker 79.
They were trying to identify the suspect’s vehicle and the people responsible.
