Police: Penn Hills man shot multiple times
A Penn Hills man was hospitalized in critical condition after being shot multiple times Monday night.
Police Chief Howard Burton said the shooting took place at about 7:45 p.m. near the intersection of Woods Road and Marion Way.
The victim is a 47-year-old resident. He was taken to UPMC Presbyterian for treatment.
Burton said investigators still working to find out what led to the shooting, as well as any information on possible suspects.
“They’re still down there canvassing, talking with neighbors and looking for video,” Burton said.
Allegheny County Homicide has taken over the investigation. Anyone with information about the shooting can call the county police tip line 833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous.
