Penn Hills fugitive taken into custody by sheriff's deputies
A Penn Hills man wanted since August on accusations of failure to appear before a judge has been apprehended.
Trevon Boddy, 24, was taken into custody while at his mother’s house along Pennwood Drive, Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office announced Saturday.
According to the report, Boddy pleaded guilty in August 2021 to carrying a firearm without a license.
Judge Susan Evashavik-DiLucente sentenced him to three years of probation.
Last August, the judge issued a bench warrant for his arrest after he failed to show for a violation hearing.
Detectives learned Boddy was living with relatives and were able to track him down.
He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Allegheny County Jail in Pittsburgh.
