Family Campout

Grab your tents and join your neighbors in Penn Hills Park at 5 p.m. July 9 for a Family Campout. Registration is required and is $30 per family. The campout will feature games, crafts, hiking, dinner and a movie in the park. A light breakfast will be provided in the morning. For more information, visit pennhillspa.gov.

Family fun night

A free family fun night is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. July 15 at Penn Hills Alliance Church, 7605 Saltsburg Road. Featured are games, food, movies, crafts and a bounce house. Sign up at signup.com/go/gqctZwp or call 412-795-1818.

Church of the Brethren hosts Bible study

Monroeville Church of the Brethren is hosting a ladies’ Bible study program at 6 p.m. Tuesdays in the sanctuary of the church, 481 Center Road.

The program is titled “Living in God’s Presence — Tracing the Temple Motif Through the Bible.” For more information, contact Sandy Ritchey at slritchey54@gmail.com. She will reply with a PDF with lesson materials for study.

Penn Hills High School 50th reunion

Penn Hills High School’s class of 1973 will celebrate their 50-year class reunion on Oct. 6, 2023, from 5-11 p.m. at Futules Harmar House in Harmarville. Movies in the Park

Penn Hills will host Movies in the Park this summer. Admission is free, and free snacks will be provided by Rolling Hills Church. For more information, call 412-798-2147. The schedule is as follows:

July 15: “Spiderman: No Way Home” at Universal Park

Aug. 19: “The Bad Guys” at Friendship Park

Sept. 16: “Sonic the Hedgehog 2” at Friendship Park
