Assault, harassment, DUI among cases handled in Judge DeLuca’s Penn Hills court for the week of April 5, 2021

Penn Hills District Judge Anthony L. DeLuca handled the following cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in Allegheny County Common Pleas Court. Charges were filed by Penn Hills police unless otherwise noted.

Held for court

• Omar Cooper Sr., 37, of Pittsburgh on charges of defiant trespass and disorderly conduct. Wilkins police filed the charges April 30.

Waived preliminary hearings

• Lawrence Yingling, 53, of Gibsonia on charges of harassment and simple assault. Verona police filed the charges July 18.

• Thomas Pirollo, 30, of Penn Hills on charges of driving with a suspended license, failure to keep right, disregard traffic lane, careless driving and accidents involving death or injury while not licensed. Charges were filed Sept. 15.

• Joseph Post, 43, of Pittsburgh on charges of driving under the influence and careless driving. Charges were filed Jan. 15.

• Robert Skultety, 36, of New Kensington on charges of causing a catastrophe, habitual offenders and driving with a suspended license. Wilkins police filed the charges Feb. 17.
